Full and Partial Dentures

Dentures are replacements for missing teeth that can be taken out and put back into your mouth. While dentures take some getting used to, and will never feel exactly the same as one’s natural teeth, today’s dentures are natural looking and more comfortable than ever.

Complete Dentures

Complete dentures are a type of restoration that can restore a natural appearance and function after all of the teeth have been removed. However, chewing efficiency is greatly reduced and normal movements of tongue and cheeks during chewing and speaking can cause movement of the dentures. Dentures can be fitted to dental implants with attachments that securely prevent movement, increasing comfort.

Partial Denture

Removable partial dentures are designed to replace missing teeth when some teeth are still present to retain the partial denture. In this case, the partial denture is secured to the remaining teeth with clasps (hooks).
