Minimal-Prep & No-Prep Veneers
During veneers treatment, a small amount of tooth enamel has to be removed in order to make room for the proper placement of the veneers. Dr. Gumm does this very carefully and only removes the minimum amount of enamel necessary. In some cases, he can also use so-called “minimum-prep” or “no-prep” veneers. These veneers are so thin that only a very tiny amount of tooth enamel, if any at all, has to be removed.
Our Veneers Treatment
Dr. Gumm takes a meticulous, detailed approach to veneers treatment. He does detailed planning and preparation to achieve the best outcome in every case.
Meticulous preparation

Dr. Gumm takes photos of your smile to assist him in the smile design process.
First, Dr. Gumm will conduct an in-depth consultation with you so that he can clearly understand your smile goals. He will then take photos of your smile to assist him in the smile design process. For an extensive makeover, he will also make a study model of your current smile and of the proposed new smile. Dr. Gumm will finalize the design together with you, making any adjustments that may be necessary.
Detailed shading for a beautiful new smile
Dr. Gumm will take impressions of your teeth and provide you with temporary veneers to wear while your permanent veneers are being fabricated. When the final veneers arrive from the lab, Dr. Gumm will verify the shading of the veneers and put the finishing touches on them to ensure that the final result looks completely lifelike.
Complete patient satisfaction
As a final assurance that you will be completely satisfied with your new smile, Dr. Gumm will let you try out the new veneers in your mouth so that you can see what they feel and look like before final placement. When you are completely happy with all aspects of your new smile, he will bond the veneers into place.
